Miami-based artist Lazaro Amaral will ease the blues, by leading a screen-printing demo.
Guests in attendance can enjoy a creative night where they will have the option of picking from six different designs and applying them on a canvas tote that will be provided. Attendants can make fun combinations of their choice by mixing and overlapping the available designs to create a one-of-a-kind piece.
The screen-printing demo will celebrate the screen-printing and design classes that are offered at my studio.
 
“To impart my artistic knowledge has been one of my most rewarding activities, therefore I felt that this demo can encourage those with an interest to sign up for a class” said Lazaro Amaral who teaches several courses at the Art Center.

About Lazaro Amaral
Miami-based artist Lazaro Amaral has an extensive art trajectory that spans 30 years. Amaral graduated from the renowned Parsons School of Design in New York in 1988. His credentials span from storyboard artist to set designer for MTV Latino, Nickelodeon, and creative visual display artist for Tower Records. His work has been described as ‘action panting’, continual use of potent colors, hidden images, layering and a projection of motion or life to each piece. His work has been likened to Abstract Expressionism calling to the common place item, 1960’s Pop icons and commenting socially, often with a comedic tone portrayed through skillful prints.
